One of the oldest tricks to create moving images is dynamic light. Fire, a candle, or even a lantern all immediately bring still objects into action – and that feeds our imagination!
In this electronics workshop participants will animate the shadows of favourite figures and toys by building an LED control circuit and a screen to project their movements and dances onto. In this way an ancestral narrative tradition will be revived and renewed through digital electronics.
